Alabama Marine Resources Division (AMRD) manage over 30 inshore artificial fishing reefs throughout Mobile Bay and the surrounding waters. AMRD has utilized numerous materials in the construction, maintenance and enhancement of these reefs, including limestone rock, oyster shell, repurposed concrete, prefabricated construction modules, and other materials. AMRD performed multibeam sonar surveys using a R2Sonic 2022 multibeam echosounder. AMRD used Hypack mapping software to process the sonar data and produced this raster dataset. |
